Summary | 0000030: Half of a grid will 'die' when the grid is split into two.
Description | When you split a grid into two, one half, often the smaller half, will 'die'. Player ropes will not interact with it, it cannot be picked up, it cannot be deleted, and it cannot be copied. These grids cannot be removed whatsoever in survival. Can be deleted by aiming at a subpart in creative, and can still have blocks placed/deleted in creative.
Steps To Reproduce | Split a grid in two. I'm not sure it happens 100% of the time, but a majority of the time. May have to do with grid complexity.

This definitely is a bug in 0.7.2, but it appears to be fixed in 0.7.3. Cannot determine why it's fixed in 0.7.3 -- my guess is it's related to the grid physics changes introduced by 0000051. For some reason the bad grids are not seen by any havok raycast, but are seen by the havok shapecast. |
