Summary0000229: Unfinished wall with door considers doors to BE THERE
Description

When I place a wall with door (tested on stone wall) the game recognises the door to already be there in the world, even though they're not visible nor can be interacted with. This causes a huge problem when building doorways in narrow places, because the invisible door can effectively block a path.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Take stone wall with door
  2. Place on a grid, or anywhere
  3. DO NOT FINISH CONSTRUCTION
  4. Try to walk through the spot, where an open door should be
  5. Hit an invisible wall / be rubberbanded

I had this problem with a Gate.

  1. I placed the Gate
  2. Approached the Gate.
  3. Got pop-up text indicating F-key to open the gate, or hold F-key to configure.
  4. Had to try to move around gate at differing angles (with hammer in hand) to get the message to continue to build with left-click

By my personal observation after reloading save/rejoining server actual door appears even if the block wasn't finished and a player is able to interact with it.
